Major SSL reseller to offer LEIs as part of new strategic partnership with market disruptor RapidLEI
London, UK and Riga, Latvia. February 11, 2019 – GoGetSSL™ – one of the world’s largest SSL resellers – and RapidLEI – an LEI issuer specialising in the automation of the LEI provision process – today announced a new partnership. This partnership will see GoGetSSL™ adding LEIs (Legal Entity Identifiers) to its internet security portfolio, capitalising on RapidLEI’s LEI automation technology.
GoGetSSL™ are newcomers to the LEI market, building on widespread success in the SSL space. They’ve sold more than 500,000 SSL certificates within the past three years to more than 67,000 customers from more than 212 countries, prompting Vladislavs Dovoreckis, CEO & Owner at GoGetSSL™, to look to emulate that success with LEIs. He says, “We see LEIs going the same way as SSL in terms of mass global adoption. RapidLEI are the perfect partner for this venture as they are well-known for their disruptive automation technology, driving down the price for buyers and ensuring greater accuracy for LEIs.”
RapidLEI’s Channel Manager, Nilesh Patel, says “GoGetSSL™ will be a perfect partner for us to help execute our shared vision, driving adoption of LEIs across the globe. The company’s success with internet security software firm and SSL partner, Sectigo (formally Comodo), paves the way for our own partnership success in this exciting new LEI space.”
RapidLEI is the only LEI issuer (or LOU – Local Operating Unit) able to confirm the LEI application in mere minutes. For this reason, they have experienced the highest growth in the LEI issuance market, outpacing existing LEI issuers with a 600% quarter-on-quarter growth of its customer base since launching in June 2018. This automated model is in contrast to other LOUs who obtain the LEI for their customers manually, and provides a much faster turnaround and greater accuracy for their customers.
This is an exciting time for the LEI issuance space as demand is ramping up for what is set to become “the one identity behind every business”. The G20 have endorsed this 20-character identifier which supports more reliable and less costly company identification in financial transactions.
LEIs will be available at https://www.gogetssl.com from 1st March 2019.
