Ubisecure announces its latest platform update, IDS 2018.1, which includes the new Authentication Adaptor and the first support for Swedish BankID along with a number of other features & core component updates

Identity verification is commonplace through identity providers such as government registries and the Know Your Customer (KYC) process implemented by regulated businesses such as banks and telecoms providers. Customers using the Identity Platform can benefit from the verified assertions issued by such trusted organisations to register or validate customers to application and service providers that need to know the identity of the user to high levels of confidence. Many services can benefit from authentication using a known level of underlying strong identity verification such as government IDs or BankIDs, with Ubisecure now leading support for Swedish BankIDs.
