On Thursday 2nd May 2019, CIEL and Ubisecure announced an expansion to their strategic business partnership, bringing advanced digital identification with Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) to the Middle East and beyond. Whilst the two companies have already seen great success collaborating to provide CIAM solutions for CIEL customers, the new partnership will see CIEL extend their portfolio to include Ubisecure’s RapidLEI offering.

To mark the launch of the new collaboration, CIEL held a well-attended press conference at the Auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture of Beirut & Mount Lebanon.

Over 70 distinguished guests from various sectors attended, such as Banking, Universities, Central Bank of Lebanon, Press, Media, TV, Public Sector, Chambers of Commerce, Commercial Sector, Army and Internal Security Generals and Medical Doctors. These included representatives from Egypt, the UAE, Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman.
The event began with the Lebanese national anthem, followed by a brief word of welcome from the Master of Ceremonies. This was followed by an educational presentation on LEIs, and the usage and importance of the RapidLEI service.
Dr Salah A. Rustum, President of CIEL, then delivered the press release statement in English, followed by their Deputy Chairman reading the Arabic version. After that, hosts and guests took part in a well-informed, dynamic Q&A session, leading into the social and networking part of the event.
